Fine Dining

The Asylum serves up an incredible feast for their brunch menu and you should definitely book your weekends for these! The flavours are simply divine and we enjoyed the infinite ingredients that are both gourmet and healthy which were incorporated to the dishes. Definitely heading back here!

This is what we like to call an experience; from the satisfying service to the superb food, Ginza definitely has a place in our heart in terms of Japanese! More Machcha and Kuro Goma ice cream please?

May have referred to a few memes here and there, but there truly is no better place to crack open a cold one with the boys than at REPUBLK! The experienced mixologist and bartenders will have you craving for more of their cocktails (and shooters to say goodbye to your woes), while you relax in their urban-chic interior or the relaxing terrace as you enjoy a drink and some bites under the stars (and warm yellow light bulbs). The night is an adventure and it may take you anywhere, but start it off right at Re.pub.lk!

Over time, Sugar has definitely become my go-to place for good food and company because of their friendly staff and food that is well worth the price. I'd highly recommend it to anyone loitering about the ODEL Promenade. A typical meal for two may set you back by a couple of thousand rupees but a dessert as good as the churros may make you realize that money is nothing when you can indulge in comforting food any day, everyday. With the attractive lighting, dark and warm atmosphere, plus good raspy music, it’ll give you an appetite for seduction: So Bon Appétit baby *cue Katy Perry*

The Brasserie at Movenpick is the latest addition to the French food scene in Colombo. Just remember that the Brasserie is not just for dates, anniversaries or special occasions so do drop by in your jeans and boots for a fancy dinner (because you deserve it!) or drag your work mates down for a fancy treat and indulge in the delicious menu they're offering!

Who isn't glad when two celebrities of Sri Lanka - Black Pepper and Crab, merge to give us an unparalleled culinary experience? You may find the restaurant in Colombo but the food journey will take you to the four corners of the island with their locally inspired dishes. Whether it's a business dinner or a casual lunch, Black Pepper has you covered with its plush interiors and mesmerizing creativity.

From the drinks to the appetizers to mains and the desserts, Silk Route delivered some stellar dishes and stayed true to their theme. We loved the flavours, textures and presentation of the dishes. We love how this place is ideal for a family dinner or a brunch with a couple of friends - this is also a good place to go on a date with your significant other. Their dishes aren't too pricey and we feel like the amount of food you receive for the price you spend is worth it. Even if you don't live in Malabe, you won't regret taking a little time to visit Silk Route for a filling meal that will have you leaving with a smile of contentment and coming back for more.

Agra is the perfect place to start your obsession with Indian cuisine as both the dining environment and menu have been carefully curated to captivate its guests with the strong aromatic flavours of India through the artful creation of blended spices. Offering clean flavours with an emphasis on quality and freshness, it's pretty clear why Agra has had a good innings and still continues to do so.
